I'm not completely aware of the full breadth of the Japanese DS application market, but I know in the US it's woefully under supplied. Jam Sessions and this Korg synth are about all that come to mind. I'm not counting Brain Age or any of that nonsense because it doesn't have any useful output.
Where're our city guides, our translation aids and our study materials? This kind of stuff typically costs about the same as or less than the highest price point for a DS game. I say put that kind of software on the market, it can only broaden their base, sell more units.
